Powerfull Voice of Kids - Digital & Media Literacy Education

This six-day institute focuses on how literacy is changing as a result of emerging media and technologies. We consider the implications of this cultural and technological shift for teaching and learning. Developed by the Media Education Lab at the University of Rhode Island in coordination with the School of Education, this is the premiere professional development program for educators and has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education's National Educational Technology Plan.

Join us in exploring innovative approaches now being used by K-12 educators, librarians, and college and university faculty.
