  • Our Team

Powerful Voices for Kids was created by Renee Hobbs, a Professor of Communication Studies and Director of the Media Education Lab at the Harrington School of Communication and Media at the University of Rhode Island. Hobbs worked in collaboration with Laurada Byers, founder of the Russell Byers Charter School in Philadelphia. David Cooper Moore, high school teacher at YES PHILLY served as the Director of the Powerful Voices for Kids program.
